Where the family began

Natural diamonds are where the house began: in 1928, Hemchand Bros. was buying them on the Antwerp bourse.

Today our natural diamond jewellery is looked after by Rohan Hemchand. We source certified stones through the family’s long relationships in the trade, and make each piece to order.

Certified diamonds

Loose natural diamonds with GIA or IGI certificates, from solitaires to matched pairs and fine melee.

Every piece, drawn

Before anything is made, the piece is drawn to scale: every link, every stone placed, measured and listed on the quotation, so you see exactly what you are buying.

The drawing goes with the piece, and stays with you.

We show you stones side by side, each with its certificate, until one is clearly right.

Drawing & quotation

The piece is drawn to scale, with a written quotation that itemises every stone, the gold and the making.

Made by hand

Our own craftsmen make it. Gold is BIS-hallmarked with HUID, and certificates come with the piece.

Conflict-free, by declaration

Our natural diamonds are bought from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict, in line with United Nations resolutions, and every invoice says so.
